While other members of WW were training for duck calling, going dove hunting or bow hunting for opening day of deer season here in KY, I decided to hit the hills with a Jeep.
I do not own a Jeep myself, but am fortunate enough to have good friends who do. (Shout out to William Lyons with Perry County Ridge Runners!) So this past Labor day weekend, I was invited to represent WW and take on the trail of Little Buckhorn. This trail has thrills and chills for all. Rough terrain would decide who would tough it out and who would bail out.
At the trail head The Perry County Ridge Runners met up with Jeep groups from Johnson and Pike counties. After just a short drive, we were on the trail. It had rained the day before which made the trail even more desirable for those wanting to get muddy.
My sixteen year old son, Alex was with me and was non-stop chatter about suspension, torque, flex and sway bars. He definitely speaks the language! But his favorite was when the wench came into play to pull one fun loving, brave Jeep that bogged down in a deep trench of mud.
Alex also served as my videographer and photographer. He is a natural!
