So…last night I threw together my first batch of Jalapeño Poppers and boy were they amazing.
I started with 8 rather large jalapenos. These were halved and emptied as my kids say.
Next, I mixed cream cheese and shredded Colby Jack cheese (cuz its my favorite cheese)…
My elk round steak was treated with my go-to Dale’s Seasoning…
Fill emptied jalapenos with cream cheese mixture…
Slice elk steak and top peppers…
Wrap in BACON (because bacon is life!)…
Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes then broiled to crisp the bacon…
