Wildlife Women Whippin’ Bait – Intro to Surf Fishing

$25.00LADIES! Come Join Wildlife Women Chapter Leader Wendy Race For an Intro to Surf Fishing Event on Long Beach Island in NJ. This Event will Have Limited Spots & the Cost will be $25.00 Per Person. Below is an Outline for the Event Which Will Include a Class & Demo Before We Fish & We Will Learn How to Clean Everything We Land that we can keep. Fishing Rods, Bait, & Everything Needed to Fish Will Be Provided. We Will Meet at the Address Above for a Class & Then Continue to the beach for Baiting & Casting Demos & Then Fishing! Wendy Will Provide Coffee, Water & Bagels/Cream Cheese/Butter. Just Bring an Extra Snack if Want For the Day & A cooler to Bring Fish Home just In case :). It Will Be First Come first Serve & if the fishing is good we can stay as long as we want :). There Will Be Some Prizes that Will Be Posted Later. We will watch Weather when closer to the event, please check back a few days leading up to the event for details & Recommendations of what to wear. Intro to Surf Fishing:
Surf fishing is a fun sport that is done right off the beach. It is an act that requires confidence in the ability to pick the exact spot along thousands of miles of coastline where a fish will find the angler’s single offering. Presenting bait or lure properly is the key to catching a fish but you also need some basic understanding of the fish your after, its behavior and its habitat as well as what it likes to feed on in different conditions. This event is geared to teach you that understand to help put the odds in your favor and give you a better understanding of the sport.
