DESCRIPTION:LADIES! Come Join Wildlife Women Chapter Leader Wendy Race For an Intro to Surf Fishing Event on Long Beach Island in NJ. This Event will Have Limited Spots & the Cost will be $25.00 Per Person. Below is an Outline for the Event Which Will Include a Class & Demo Before We Fish & We Will Learn How to Clean Everything We Land that we can keep. Fishing Rods\, Bait\, & Everything Needed to Fish Will Be Provided. We Will Meet at the Address Above for a Class & Then Continue to the beach for Baiting & Casting Demos & Then Fishing! Wendy Will Provide Coffee\, Water & Bagels/Cream Cheese/Butter. Just Bring an Extra Snack if Want For the Day & A cooler to Bring Fish Home just In case :). It Will Be First Come first Serve & if the fishing is good we can stay as long as we want :). There Will Be Some Prizes that Will Be Posted Later. We will watch Weather when closer to the event\, please check back a few days leading up to the event for details & Recommendations of what to wear. It is an act that requires confidence in the ability to pick the exact spot along thousands of miles of coastline where a fish will find the angler’s single offering. Presenting bait or lure properly is the key to catching a fish but you also need some basic understanding of the fish your after\, its behavior and its habitat as well as what it likes to feed on in different conditions.
