SUMMARY:Wildlife Women - Float Em If Ya Got Em Third Annual Float
DESCRIPTION:This event will be a float down the Tug Fork River located in Pike County\, KY and Mingo County\, WV. THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT! ANY CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT!\nYou can float in kayaks\, canoes\, floats\, or whatever you wish to bring. You also have the option to fish while we float\, we only ask that if you chose to fish that you do it away from the non-fishers and keep toward the back of our float. We will be meeting at the boat ramp located by the Mexican Restaurant (1069 Central Avenue\, South Williamson\, KY 41503\, in South Williamson\, KY. The boat ramp is located just prior to the restaurant on the right-hand side of the road. We will enter the river here. A shuttle service will be provided. We will unload floating devices and 1 person from each vehicle will be shuttled to our exit point at the Chattaroy Park and Ride. That person will drive their vehicle down to the Park and Ride and will be brought back to the boat ramp to enter the water with everyone. The float typically takes 2-3 hours\, depending on the current and how fast we float.\nYou may bring snacks or drinks for the float. NO ALOCHOLIC BEVERAGES OR DRUGS OF ANY KIND ARE PERMITTED ON THE WATER. All participants will sign a waiver before entering the water and will be asked to sign a form allowing video footage. You are not required to be videoed.\nStart Time of Float: Registration will begin at 8:30 am and we will enter the water at 10:00 am.\nStop time: This float typically lasts 2-3 hours. We will be off the water by 2:00 pm.\nCancellation Notice: In the event of unfortunate heavy rainfall or bad weather\, a cancelation will be announced no later than 7:00pm the night before the float!\nCost: The cost will be $5 per person to cover shuttle fees. This will be paid on the day of the event.\nEvent T-Shirts – There will be t-shirts/tank tops sold for this event. It will be a pre-order item only. It is not a requirement to float with us  The cost will be $18 for t-shirts and $16 for tank tops. I am working on the design and will have the pre-order posted by May 1st. All orders and payment for shirts will be due by May 30th.\nChapter Leader Cassie Diamond is hosting this event.
