SUMMARY:Wildlife Women - Duck Hunt
DESCRIPTION:First annual ladies only Duck Hunt for Wildlife Women! You were required to attend the Duck Hunt seminar hosted by Chapter Leader Kelly Crow on September 1\, 2018 or at least have duck hunted before in order to attend. Our guide is Brent Thompson with Pine Ridge British Labradors who had the seminar to teach and talk all about duck hunting. This will be an early morning hunt which will last until we limit out or till we can’t stay any longer.\nYou are required to have your hunting license\, HIP survey\, Migratory Bird-Waterfowl Permit\, and Federal Duck Stamp. Go online with http://www.fw.ky.gov to purchase all.\nThe hunt will be in a 3 county area of Western Kentucky around the Princeton and Eddyville\, Kentucky area.\nWe can go down Friday evening on 1/4/19 and join Brent and his lovely family at his home to a meal cooked by them of duck!\nFor anymore info or address to Brent’s house please send a message to Melissa Blair or Wildlife Women and we will answer any questions and give addresses.\nA couple of the ladies have booked rooms at the Hampton Inn at Kuttawa\, Kentucky. SUMMARY:Wildlife Women-Dinner and a Rabbit Hunt
DESCRIPTION:The location of the rabbit hunt is set to be held at the Griffith Woods WMA (in the past referred to as Silver Lake Farm). Griffith Woods WMA is located in Harrison County near the junction of US 62 and Russell Cave RD (State RD 353). It is approximately 4 miles southwest of Cynthiana\, 15 miles east of Georgetown\, and 25 miles northeast of Lexington. \nThis is a LADIES ONLY event! If you have any questions please message Michelle Ralston. \n  \n  \nWildlife Women is pairing up with Marty Neal with Traditions Archery Outfitters Pro Shop in Louisville\, Kentucky to host a public land rabbit hunt. \nWe will start by having dinner on Sunday\, November 18\, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cracker Barrel off of Winchester Road in Lexington (2220 Elkhorn Rd\, Lexington\, KY 40505) to discuss and plan the hunt\, as well as talk about safety and hunting on public land. A location for the dinner will be announced soon. \nBECAUSE OF WEATHER\, THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED FOR NOW.  NEW DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON. \nNext\, the hunt will be held on Saturday\, December 1\, 2018.  Everyone will need to meet there at 6:30 a.m. Important Notice!  It is now set to be held at the Griffith Woods WMA (in the past referred to as Silver Lake Farm).
