DESCRIPTION:Second annual ladies only Duck Hunt with Wildlife Women! You are required to have experience on shotguns or at least have duck hunted before in order to attend. Our guide is Brent Thompson with Pine Ridge British. This will be an early morning hunt which will last until we limit out or till we can’t stay any longer.\nYou are required to have your hunting license\, HIP survey\, Migratory Bird-Waterfowl Permit\, and Federal Duck Stamp. Go online with www.fw.ky.gov to purchase all.\nThe hunt will be in a 3 county area of Western Kentucky around the Princeton and Eddyville\, Kentucky area.\nWe can go down Friday evening on 12/13/19 to meet up and get ready for our early morning hunt the next day.\nFor any questions please send a message to Melissa Blair or Wildlife Women.\nWe will be checking into hotel rates in the area and post on here soon. SUMMARY:Wildlife Women Duck Hunting Seminar
DESCRIPTION:This will be our 2nd annual duck hunting seminar with Brent Thompson Pine Ridge British Labradors. We are privileged enough to have Brent come from Western Kentucky to the Burnside area to hold instruction on the basics of Duck Hunting. This is instruction only\, it is NOT Duck hunting season. We will learn safety\, duck hunting with dogs\, the basics of duck hunting\, and different equipment needed such as clothing\, guns and ammo\, and state and federal regulations. This training will help you prepare and be ready for a duck hunt in December when the season opens. We will plan a duck hunt in Western Kentucky in December once the seminar is done and it is required to take the seminar if you’ve never duck hunted before in order to attend the actual duck hunt. \nPLEASE bring a shogun\, ammo\, eye and ear protection. Once instruction is given on the above\, we will travel to a location close to trap shoot out of a ground blind. \nThe cost for the event will be $25.00 which will also include a Wildlife Women’s membership upon payment. The event is for women only 18 years and up. Chad has been teaching turkey seminars for over 20 years\, he has also competed and won numerous calling competitions in the past. Chad is a field rep for Cane Creek Calls and a Mossy Oak Pro-staff. There is no cost for the seminar but attendees are required to order food for use of the banquet room. Griffith Woods WMA is located in Harrison County near the junction of US 62 and Russell Cave RD (State RD 353). It is approximately 4 miles southwest of Cynthiana\, 15 miles east of Georgetown\, and 25 miles northeast of Lexington. \nThis is a LADIES ONLY event! If you have any questions please message Michelle Ralston. \n  \n  \nWildlife Women is pairing up with Marty Neal with Traditions Archery Outfitters Pro Shop in Louisville\, Kentucky to host a public land rabbit hunt. \nWe will start by having dinner on Sunday\, November 18\, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cracker Barrel off of Winchester Road in Lexington (2220 Elkhorn Rd\, Lexington\, KY 40505) to discuss and plan the hunt\, as well as talk about safety and hunting on public land.
